Sabbatical Research Grants
Sabbatical Research Grants offer academic staff on open-ended or continuing contracts of employment in Scottish higher education institutions the opportunity to take a 12-month sabbatical to focus on a research project of their choice. These grants are funded by the Scottish Funding Council. The sabbatical research projects supported align with the Scottish Government National Outcomes and produce findings which enhance the transfer of ideas and technology from the research community to promote increasing sustainable economic growth for all.
